Hey guys! Sorry I haven’t posted on my blog in a few days, but it’s because my husband and I have been busy moving to Texas! After a nail in our tire, driving three days with our two cats (who got loose inside a McDonald’s haha), and trying to find a hotel at midnight in the middle of nowhere, we FINALLY made to Houston! Since Alex got his job offer in Houston, I’ve been counting down the days until we got to move to this awesome city! I visited Houston last summer a couple times and fell in love! There are sooo many amazing restaurants literally on every corner, the best shopping I’ve ever seen, and the people here are so nice. Literally everyone smiles and says hi, and is always offering you the sweetest compliments! With the help of Alex’s friend and his wife, we moved into our place! It is finally coming together and it’s starting to look like home. I love decorating and making our new place all cozy and homey 🙂
After a week of moving here and moving in and unpacking, we finally got to leave our apartment today and explore the city a bit more! We went over to The Galleria area which is in a cute area of Houston called Uptown! We also went to the Water Wall which is this giant wall/ structure at this park with water flowing down all around it. It’s pretty cool to see!
Now that we are almost all unpacked, we have to repack again for New York City this Sunday! I got this top (which is actually a dress, but I chose to wear it as a shirt) from SheIn to wear for going out on the town and for NYC, and I LOVE it!
