Travel Must-Haves and Travel Essentials
In this post, I’m sharing all my travel must-haves and travel essentials with you! I am currently packing for my trip to upstate New York this week, and wanted to share some things I’m bringing with me. Lately, Alex and I have been traveling a lot and have done some fun road-trips as a family with Kennedy too. I’ve gotten so much better at packing and figuring items I need to bring and what I don’t need. I wanted to share some items that I always bring with me and know you’ll love as well.
One thing that has been a life-saver has been the portable luggage scale. We no longer need to take apart our suitcases at the airport and distribute things. We can weigh them before we head to the airport, which makes checking-in so much faster and smoother. I also am a big believer in packing the right skincare products for traveling. My skin always looks awful after a long flight, so I make sure to take extra care when I get to the hotel. I also always drink a TON of water while I travel. I love the Hydroflask water bottle because it’s so portable and it keeps my water cold all day long.
One important must-have in the Jones family is snacks! I always need to have snacks on me for Kennedy and I during our trips. Sometimes we don’t have time to stop for food immediately in between flights. So having a healthy snack like a KIND Bar that will fill you up and give you energy is so important. I also love soft, wrap scarfs for long flights. I always get really cold on airplanes, so I use this scarf as a blanket on the flight. You can find a lot of different travel wrap scarfs here. It’s important to keep tags on your luggage in case it gets lost or stolen- which NEVER happens (insert sarcasm). I love these fashionable luggage tags that are classy and come in a pack of three! You also have to put all your toiletries and hair products in a case so they don’t spill everywhere! I love these Chanel inspired vanity cases that is so cute and stylish.
