Little Girl Pink Christmas Bedroom Decor!

In here is my daughter Kennedy’s Nutcracker Inspired Pink Christmas Decor for her bedroom!

This year I wanted to do a Nutcracker “Sugar Plum Fairy” theme for Kennedy’s Christmas bedroom decor! I love how whimsical the decorations are with this theme and the pastel colors are perfect for a little girl’s room. I searched high and low for all the nutcrackers, swans, ballerinas, and candy ornaments I could find. The colors for this theme I stuck to were mainly pastel pink, light blue, mauve, white and brown so it made it easy to find things that incorporated those colors.

First we attached these mini string lights around her playhouse loft bed. Framing her bed with these mini string lights make her room glow and really give that magical Christmas feeling! Then I strung this pink Santa and reindeer pom pom garland with this darling ornament wreath I found at Michael’s. Under her bed there is a small vanity/desk we got her recently for her birthday back in September. My six year old daughter Kennedy LOVES it. She uses her new desk to write, draw and do her homework- it is also perfect for her play makeup too! I added a few miniature flocked Christmas trees to her vanity and some twinkle lights. I also added in this gold bow chair which makes it feel a little more mature for my newly six year old and she feels like a total princess sitting in it!

 For Kennedy’s Christmas tree, I found this amazing 5ft pink ombre Christmas tree that is the perfect height and size for her bedroom. It such a gorgeous pink Christmas tree in person, and is also such great quality for the price. It is a little under $53 and was delivered within days of ordering it! I really wanted to find beautiful and whimsical ornaments for her tree to go along with the Nutcracker theme, and I scored with finding exactly what I was looking for! I found the cutest ice cream and candy ornaments, unicorns, cotton candy, gold crowns, swans and ballerina ornaments which made my heart swoon. I added these stunning rose gold poinsettia flower picks to her tree, which really gave it some dimension! The Nutcracker is something I look forward to seeing every year during Christmas time, so it was fun to tie in this theme somewhere in our house. I can’t wait to take Kennedy this year to go see it!

For her Pottery Barn Kids Dollhouse, I found this adorable pastel pink vintage car from Home Goods and put a couple mini flocked Christmas trees from the Target Dollar Section in front of it. I also found this adorable mini mailbox that I put outside the dollhouse too. I added a couple fluffy sherpa Christmas trees to make her dollhouse look like a winter wonderland!

In her reading nook area, I added these adorable Cuddle and Kind reindeer dolls (large reindeer dolls and baby reindeer doll), this Christmas pillow and several Christmas books to add to her bookshelf. I also found these adorable holiday prints and got them in these little frames above her books.

Here are some of my favorite Christmas books for little girls:   

 

For Kennedy’s dresser I lined it with multicolored bottle brush trees. I found most of the bottle brush trees for her room from Etsy, Target and at Home Goods- they have the best variety and colors to choose from! I then found these plain wood Nutcrackers and these little white houses to add to it as well. I found these small Nutcracker men at Michael’s and painted them to match the colors in her room. I used various shades of light pink acrylic paint for them. I loved how this little Nutcracker scene on her dresser turned out!

In the end this room, doing one of my beloved Nutcracker themes, was a labor of love. I truly enjoyed putting it together and making it come to life with Christmas magic for my little girl.
