Happy Monday! Hope you had a fun and safe weekend! Here in Southern California it really has been feeling like summer already. Which means swimsuits season has been on my mind. I love seasons and changing weather, but having summer-like weather year round is something I can’t really complain about. With Spring coming up soon, I have been looking around for some cute swimsuits, cover-ups, sandals, sunglasses, etc. I have also recently brightened up my blonde locks and trimmed a bit off to freshen everything up. I am SO picky with my hair color because I have had some disastrous hair stories-that is for another post though haha. But I recently discovered Cori from The Madison Salon in Costa Mesa and I am so obsessed with her work. She gave me the best blonde highlights and the BEST haircut ever! I have been so excited for Spring and heading out to the beach with Kennedy and my husband Alex. We only like about 15-20 minutes away from our favorite beaches here in Orange County, so we will definitely be taking advantage of that. Kennedy absolutely LOVES the beach- well, water in general. That girl is not afraid of anything especially water. Which is always scary for mama, but I am also glad she has no fear. Even if the ocean or the pool is freezing cold, she still loves it and gets so mad if we try to take her out. Maybe we have a future swimmer on our hands-haha! So now that she is older and is able to enjoy it more, it will be such a fun time taking her to the beach.
To get a head start on the season and start thinking about vacations and warmer weather early, I have rounded up some swim finds for you all! This bright magenta one-piece I am wearing is so cute and I love the strappy back! This embroidered floppy hat will also for sure be coming with me to the beach and on vacation. Unless I am in the pool with Kennedy, I am usually lounging, listening to music and just relaxing.
