Fall Decor in My Home!
Sharing all the Fall decor I recently added to our home and a little life update!
One of my favorite seasons is Fall! I love everything about it- the leaves changing colors, the cooler weather, being able to finally wear boots and sweaters again, and of course Halloween and Thanksgiving!! I fell in love with Fall when I was going to college in Utah. The Fall season there is SO beautiful and so much different than here in Southern California where I grew up. Here in California, there isn’t much of a drastic change in the seasons. It is mostly always sunny and warm here, with some cold and rainy days in the Winter. I mean, when Alex and I got married in Los Angeles in January, it was 85 degrees and sunny! So I love decoraing our home to make it “feel” like Fall and gives all the cozy vibes.
I want to share a little life update, and what’s been going on lately! I have been busy, busy, busy this month!!! It seems like once September came, life has been so crazy- but I guess that’s a good thing, right?! We are wrapping up home renos in our house. We did wood floors upstairs in all the bedrooms, hallways and loft. We also re-did our downstairs powder bathroom, and I am working on the kid’s playroom right now. I am also working on my home office which I moved to my walk-in closet! I call it my “cloffice” aka closet office haha! I will hopefully have everything completely finished in the next few weeks, so I will be doing posts sharing each project soon! But it has been hard and stressful finding time to get all those projects done with little ones. I also have been busy getting Kennedy’s 4th Birthday party planned. She has been talking about a mermaid birthday party since Christmas haha! She is sooo excited, so I’m having fun making this special for her. Kennedy has started in-person preschool this month, so that has been such a big blessing. After 6 months of not seeing any friends from church or school, she was dying to go back to school and get her old routine back. She LOVES her new teacher and has met so many new friends her age. She is SOO happy and every weekend talks about how she can’t wait to go back to school and see all her friends again.
