Since high school, I have always loved getting ready and dressed up to go places! People would always ask why I always was wearing makeup and I said because I LOVE getting ready for the day and feeling my best. Since becoming a mom, that time is far and few between. The past year it feels like my usual #ootd has been workout leggings and casual/comfy tees. Lately, I have been wanting to get ready (mostly) everyday and actually get in a cute outfit. It makes me feel better about myself and I feel more productive when I get dressed in a cute outfit and put even a little bit of makeup on!

These booties also work great with dresses! Another trick to make a simple, casual outfit instantly look more stylish and put together is tucking the front of the tee into my jeans.
