This weekend was soo rainy and windy here in Houston because we were getting struck with the remnants of Hurricane Patricia! There was crazy flooding and cars floating near the river- but luckily not near where we live! I wasn’t able to do some planned blog shoots this weekend because of the weather, but fingers crossed it clears up soon so I can get those taken! On Saturday Morning, Alex and I tried this cute restaurant in the Montrose District called Common Bond! I would always drive by it and saw it was always PACKED and thought it must be good! I’m so glad we tried it because it was amazing! I got a Kouign Amann, a yogurt parfait, and Alex got a breakfast sandwich (which was sooo delicous)! If you are ever in the Houston area, definitely try this restaurant for breakfast/ lunch!

This printed shirt is one of my favorite recent items in my closet! It is under $12 and for the price, the material and quality is surprisingly soft and thick! I ordered medium (I’m usually a small) because I like a baggy fit for printed tees! Printed tees are perfect for a cool and casual look, and look great alone with jeans, tucked into a pencil skirt, or under a leather jacket!
