Preparing For Baby: Favorite Stores for Baby Clothes and Decor!
In today’s post, I’m talking all about my favorite places to shop for clothes and decor for Baby Boy at The Shops at Mission Viejo here in Orange County!
Ever since I found out I was pregnant with a boy, I was soo excited for experiencing something different! I was so grateful God blessed me with a little girl AND a little boy! When I was pregnant with Kennedy it was sooo easy to go cray with the shopping and it was also so easy to find cute baby girl clothes. It has been so much more difficult trying to find cute outfits for baby boy, and the options are much more limited. Although there isn’t as big of a selection to choose from as there is for baby girls, I wanted to share the top stores I have been shopping for baby boy! They all have had the cutest clothes to choose from and the best selection of newborn basics, infant and toddler outfits, nursery decor, and baby gear!
If you’ve ever been in the baby section of Zara, you’ve probably seen all the adorable little outfits they have! But one of the main reasons Zara is my main go-to place to shop for baby boy is the price point! Everything is priced really reasonably and is still great quality. I also love how unique it is, and the neutral (non-cheesy) clothes. Another baby store I like for more special outfits and pieces is Janie and Jack. Everything there is amazing quality and so classic! I got the cutest sweater for baby boy there and some other “going out” outfits.
Getting the baby’s nursery ready is one of my favorite parts of being pregnant! No store does it better than Pottery Barn Kids. They have the largest and best selection of cribs, baby furniture, gliders, wall decor, window treatments, and much more. I’ve also been going to my local Pottery Barn Kids store for items for Kennedy’s and Baby Boy’s nursery! They have such cute decor and furniture for baby nurseries. I found this whale crib sheet to go with his nautical and ocean themed nursery!! Of course, one of the best retailers for baby clothes and items is Nordstrom! They have an amazing selection of baby clothes, shoes, baby gear and essentials.
I love stopping in at my local Nordstroms because they have so many options, and I can also find everything I need for the whole family. Some great baby brands I love that they carry in the store are Jellycat, Tucker + Tate, Nordstrom Baby, Stem, Little Me, Kickee Pants, L’ovedbaby, Mud Pie, Milk Snob, Noddle & Boo, and much more!! All of the emplotyees in the baby and kids section are always SO helpful and knowledgeable about the baby gear and any questions I have. I stocked up on several pairs of Kickee Pants and L’ovedbaby pajamas in the newborn size and 0-3 months. I love when newborns are in something cozy and soft, and these brands are my favorite for that!
The Nordstrom at my local mall here in Orange County, CA is also an amazing place to find everything you need for baby! The Nordstrom at The Shops at Mission Viejo is my one stop store for everything for my family. They carry some of my favorite baby brands such as Freshly Picked, Little Me, Tucker and Tate, Converse, Mud Pie, Jelly Cat, Little Giraffe, Project Nursery, and much more! I love how helpful the employees are in the baby and kids section, and always help me with whatever I’m looking for. All of these amazing baby clothing and decor stores are right at my local Simon Mall here in Orange County- The Shops at Mission Viejo! This mall has so many of my favorite stores, and my favorite restaurant The Cheesecake Factory! Some more of my favorite maternity and baby stores I love shopping at here are A Pea in the Pod Maternity, Gap Kids, Old Navy, H&M Baby, and The Children’s Place.
