BEAUTY:
WHAT FOUNDATION + COLOR DO YOU USE?
I use this foundation for special events, date nights and my blog photos. I’m the color “wheat” but I will mix a darker shade with that if I have a tan. For everyday makeup, when I’m just running errands or for the beach I love this CC cream! I am the color “medium.”
WHAT SELF TANNER DO YOU USE?
I use this self-tanner in the color dark! I make sure to exfoliate with this glove in the shower and shave. Then I apply the tanner with this applicator mitt. I talk more in depth about how I apply it in this post!
WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR HAIR DONE + WHAT DOES SHE DO TO IT?
My hairstylist Cori does a combination of highlights and low-lights. I have been mixing more dark colors into my hair to get a more ashy, natural looking blonde. Cori works at The Madison Salon in Costa Mesa, CA. I’ve also been asked a lot about extensions and if I wear any. I used to wear them a couple years ago, but I don’t anymore. After having Kennedy, my hair grew like crazy and got really thick, so I stopped wearing them. But when I did wear them I LOVED these Bellami extensions!

WHAT DO YOU DO TO STAY FIT?
After gaining a lot of weight during my pregnancy with Kennedy, I really tried hard to get the weight off and keep it off. I started eating really healthy and working out 5-6 days a week. I started doing home workouts such as T25 or BBG every single morning. It was painful and sooo hard to push through them, but I’m so happy I did. In addition to working out every morning, I would walk with Kennedy 3 miles a day. I stopped eating out so much and ate more at home. I also started eating lots of small meals throughout the day instead of 3 big meals. I stopped eating after 8pm and cut out sugar and desserts. Now that the baby weight is all off, I will have dessert like 2x a week and a splurge meal once a week.
I have been eating fairly healthy since then and I drink LOTS of water throughout the day. I fill a tumbler cup with ice and will drink several those a day. I also will have 1 or 2 packets mixed into my water of the AdvantraSlim which helps me feel full and not so hungry. You can use my discount code: PINK50 for 50% off your entire order. During the day, I like to eat things like oatmeal or Dave’s Killer Bread for breakfast. For a mid-morning snack I will have almonds and a Greek yogurt. Then for lunch a turkey wrap with spicy salsa, grapes and a homemade salad. For dinner, we will usually make chicken, brown rice, salmon, vegetables or healthy tacos. I still love pasta, but I will have only small portions and fill up more on the vegetables. I also don’t deny cravings nor am I super strict. I will still have my favorite chips, salsa and guacamole and enjoy Mexican food! But I don’t do it all the time!! If I’m craving sweets, I love dark chocolate! Doing all these things has helped me lose almost 60 pounds after having my baby.

WHAT KIND OF CAMERA DO YOU HAVE?
I have the Sony A7 rii with a 35 mm f 1.4 lens! I use this camera to shoot all of my blog and IG photos besides my selfies and some outfit shots when I’m out and about. I am obsessed with this camera and swear my Sony products!! I have had two other cameras since starting blogging, and this one is by far the best! It takes amazing quality pictures that are crisp and clear. I also love this Sony camera because it is comparable to the Canon Mark iv but it is much smaller and lighter. It wasn’t until I really took the leap and invested in a great camera and lens, that I started to see a great response quickly from brands and saw my blog/IG grow a lot more! Even though it is pricey and it’s a big investment, I think it has paid off 10 fold already!
HOW DO YOU EDIT YOUR PHOTOS?
I edit all of my photos on Lightroom and in the Lightroom App! I have been using the Pink Millenial Collection from Dreamy Presets.
