Soft + Romantic Makeup
I am a bit of a makeup junkie and always love testing and trying new makeup products! I did this soft and romantic makeup look the other day and I am sharing below where you can find all of the products I used to achieve this look. These are all my own makeup products that I’ve been using every day and absolutely LOVE! One of my favorites is the Naked 3 palette from Urban Decay! This palette has the prettiest colors and shades of blush, gold, soft browns, and dark hues. My number 1 foundation recommendation is Georgio Armani Luminous Silk. I’ve tried every single brand of drugstore and department store makeup you can name, and this is the only foundation that doesn’t make me breakout, cause my skin to get cake and oily by the afternoon, and has a weird texture and look. This foundation feels super light, has buildable coverage, and creates a velvety, soft finish! I applied all of my eye and most of my face makeup with my Luxie Lux 12 piece brush set, my foundation with a tapered bristle brush, and my concealer with a damp Beauty Blender sponge.
I usually do contouring for night time or special events, but I almost always do a light contouring every time I do my makeup. For the cheeks, forehead, jawline, and the sides of my nose, I use Laguna by NARS and a banana colored powder to highlight. I use the MAC Mineralized Skin finish power in Soft and Gentle on my cheeks to create a dewy look and on the tip of my nose and down the center of my nose. Also, I use Albatross by NARS on the top of my cheekbones and under my eye socket to highlight even more! Ever since I had a disaster eyelash extension experience this past fall, I have been trying to grow my poor lashes out. But until that happens I have been using Ardell False Lashes in a variety of different styles and shapes. I do a more natural whispie lash for daytime and a Glamorous fuller lash for night time and special events! Another secret I use is Bellami hair extensions to achieve full and thick braids! I have the 20″ in Ash Blonde but if you can get longer such as the 22″ or 24,” that would be even better to help you achieve the perfect princess braid!
